Instructions For Playing the Chart Game

1. Log in to www.chartgame.com
2. Select “Play a SwingTrader Simulation”
3. Select “Indicators” about half way down on the right under the “Next Bar” button
4. Scroll down and select “ATR” (leave the period at 14)
5. Hover over or touch (iPad) the right most candle (green or red bar)
6. Enter the “Open” number into the “Open” column of your spreadsheet (2 decimals only)
7. Estimate the ATR by seeing what number the black line is closest to in the ATR box under the chart
8. Enter this number into the “Daily ATR” column (2 decimals only)
9. Spreadsheet automatically fills in “Stop Price” and “Target Price” columns
10. Select the “Next Bar” button on Chart Game to scroll forward 1 day
11. Enter the “Target Price” as the “Exit Price” if the high for the day is at or above the “Target Price”
12. Enter the “Stop Price” as the “Exit Price” if the low for the day is at or below the “Target Price”
13. Spreadsheet automatically fills in the “Profit or Loss” column
14. Once price is triggered, select “End Game” on the chart, then “Play Another” to open a new chart and repeat
15. Continue filling in the spreadsheet for at least 30 trades.
